A Chevy-powered 1935 Ford hot rod is among the classic cars and motorbikes featuring in a charity event at the NorthWest Shopping Centre this Queen’s Birthday Weekend. Parked Up Out West will raise funds for Leukemia & Blood Cancer NZ.

NorthWest Shopping Centre came up with the event to generate community goodwill and support its charitable partner.

“We’re delighted to be partnering with Renegade Hot Rod Club, local community groups and schools to fundraise for Leukaemia & Blood Cancer NZ, which deserves all the support we can muster for the amazing work they do,” said NorthWest Centre manager, Simone van Delft.

Entertainment will feature dance troupes, school groups and an impressive display of cars and bikes.

With everything from hot rods, to choppers, dress ups and raffles, Parked Up Out West is a family-friendly event.

Entry is by gold-coin donation.
