Honda created a lot of excitement when they revealed the Urban EV concept at the Frankfurt Motor Show last month, but it's now clear that the little retro EV isn't the only full-electric vehicle they've been working on.
Now, Honda has announced they will unveil an all-new electric sports car at the Toyko Motor Show as well - the Sports EV Concept.
Honda has only released a single image of the Sports EV Concept, but thankfully for fans of the Urban EV, the Sports EV's design appears to be of the same ilk as the retro-inspired hatch.
Honda say the concept will feature a striking silhouette, friendly face and supple body surfaces. The development team designed the sporty electric car to deliver a feeling of 'joy and emotional unity to the drive', achieved by combining the EV powerunit and AI technology in a compact bodyshape.
Honda has not said if a production version of the Sport EV Concept will follow.
The Sports EV Concept will be unveiled on 25 October at the Toyko Motor Show.
During the show Honda will have the Urban EV Concept on display, along with an all-new CR-V and a special celebration of the 100 millionth production milestone of the Super Cub motorcycle.
