While we can't quite call Michael Bay's Transformers a car movie, I'm sure we can all agree that the franchise features some stunning cars.
The latest movie is no exception.
A first look at the cars in Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, is nothing to scoff over.
Director, Steven Caple Jr., shared pictures of the beautiful machinery on Instagram this week, along with some behind the scenes shots shared on the Facebook page, Transformers Cars, which is run by fans who have helped promote the films over the years.

Fans of the show will recognise the Hero, Bumblebee, as the same classic Chevrolet Camaro it's been throughout the films. But it's safe to say its received a bit of a make over. Chunky mud tires are fitted under flared guards, with a tough bash bar up front. The windscreen has what almost looks like a semi-external rollcage and spotlights, and there's a ducktail spoiler at the rear. Apparently, all the Camaros built for the film have GM Performance 350 small block V8s under the hood with "aftermarket mods."
It looks as though fellow Autobot and leader, Optimus Prime, will also feature in the film, although details are scant with this one. But we can see that Autobot Arcee appears as a Ducati 916, with Mirage and Wheeljack as a silver Porsche 964 and a VW bus.
The character Nightbird will be 'played' by an R33 Nissan Skyline GT-R with copper and purple hightlights painted over grey, with a bodykit and big rear wing. It may not be a genuine GT-R, but it's safe to say it looks bloody good.
On the team of the badies, the orange tow truck is a GMC Topkick, and the black Mack truck acts as the alternate form of the character Scourge, both reportedly aligned with the villainous Terrorcons faction.
Set 7 years before the original 2007 film, in 1994, the movie features another ancient robot conflict. This time, it's not just the Autobots in the action, with the Maximals, Predacons, and Terrorcons also getting involved. The latest film in the Transformers franchise is set to be released on 24 June 2022, and is a direct sequel to 2018's Bumblebee.
