Driven, GrabOne and Honda are giving a Kiwi motorist the chance to buy a new Honda Civic RS Turbo hatch at an exceptional price.
The GrabOne site is holding a reverse auction for the new model that is being launched at Hampton Downs Motorsport Park on Tuesday.
The auction for the new sporty four-door hatch starts on Tuesday at the full price, $40,900, and the price will drop each day at 9am.
Users won't know how much the price will drop, and they won't know who else is keeping close eyes on the offer.
As the price drops by hundreds, even thousands, the urge to grab it will increase, but with only one Civic RS Turbo available, the first person to hit "buy" will get the car.
The purchaser will be able to choose the colour of the car, and the Honda dealership they can collect it from.
In 2015, GrabOne and Honda sold the Honda Jazz used by the winners of TV3's The Block New Zealand for $24,150.
The new Civic 5 door Hatch range, including the RS Turbo, builds on the momentum generated by the Civic Sedan introduced last year.
The Civic RS Sport Turbo Hatch offers the high level of luxury driver spec and technology seen in the RS Sedan, with the added versatility of a hatch.
It has a centrally mounted twin exhaust system, finished with chrome exhaust outlets and full lower, under body kit in Piano Black creating an even sportier exterior.
