The UK's annual Goodwood Festival of Speed has become one of the most sought-after venues for carmakers to launch their newest and most exciting models.

The promotion for the event itself modestly states it's "the greatest motor show on earth". It's a fair call though.

It's not just about "show", though. While new cars go on static display, many also blast up Goodwoods famous hillclimb circuit, a 1.87km stretch of sinewy tarmac that is very much seen as the centre of the event.

This year's Goodwood weekend (just gone, July 10-13) was one of the best yet. Watch the video above and check out the 15 most important new-models to go roaring up the famous hill: everything from the Ferrari F80 to a humble electric Renault 5 (okay, this particular 5's not so humble).
