Mercedes-Benz chose the 2016 Motorclassica event, staged in Melbourne’s Royal Exhibition Building, to celebrate 130 years of manufacturing history.
The show also formed the backdrop for the glitzy local premiere of the Mercedes-AMG S 65 Cabriolet; the carmaker’s headline act in terms of its luxurious roadster offerings. Of course, this being one of Australasia’s pre-eminent Concours d'Elegance events, there was incredible machinery on display in every corner of the sumptuous exhibition hall; cars merely on display to delight, along with plenty of historic metal that will be up for auction as part of the Motorclassica event.
