Ford New Zealand has released new details about the latest version of its successful Ford Ranger ute range, which will be available from September.
The managing director Corey Holter said the refreshed design, smart new technologies and safety enhancements along with an even bolder look would cement the Ranger's position as New Zealand's best-selling ute.
Among the models is the top-of-the-range Wildtrak, which Ford Asia Pacific's vice president of product development, Trevor Worthington, said was a perfect fit for customers wanting to combine genuine four by four capability with stand-out styling and premium features.
He said designers had worked to emphasize the model's tough design.
"Flanked by projector head lamps, the bold trapezoidal grille with strong outboard nostrils is finished in a dark, liquid metallic gray.
"The same accent color continues to the side mirrors, door handles, side air vents, bed rails and tail lamps for a dark, sporty appearance."
