Entry XL has smartened up quite a bit with darkened exterior details.

Across the range, there's a darkened look in place of the previous chrome detailing, along with new wheel designs.

The Wildtrak is now available with Ignite Orange as its new "hero colour" (replacing Luxe Yellow), with new 18-inch wheels. The flagship Platinum boasts a new Acacia Green hue (replacing Equinox Bronze).

The work-focused Ranger XL has gained a 12-inch infotainment screen and dual-zone climate control rear air vents.

All cab-chassis models have extra safety features via the DAT Bar.

New for the Ranger lineup is a more highly specified cab-chassis model, in XLT trim with heavy duty suspension as standard. It joins the XL. All cab-chassis variants will feature the Driver Assist Technology (DAT) bar, which packages advanced driver-assist systems like Blind Spot Information System and Cross-Traffic Alert.

The DAT Bar allows owners to switch from a tray to a service body without compromising on driver assist features, says Ford.

New Ranger special editions

A new model called Ranger Wolftrak will be introduced with the 2026.5 model year, in a new colour: Traction Green.

Colour us green: new Wolftrak is a showy off-road-themed model.

Wolftrak will feature "Zest" accents on the nostrils and 17-inch Asphalt Black wheels. It combines "rugged, off-road-inspired styling with practical features like the long-legged sports hoop and LED headlamps", says Ford. The seats are trimmed in vinyl with "Wolftrak" embroidery up front.

Ranger Wolftrak will be offered exclusively with the V6 engine.

Returning to the Ranger line-up is the Tremor, this time also with the V6 engine (previously a biturbo-4). The previous Tremor’s off-road features, including its modified suspension, Trail Control (shared with Raptor), General Grabber AT3 all-terrain tyres and extra underbody protection, continue.

Ranger Sport is no longer available in the 2026.5 model year.

As previously reported, the current 154kW/500Nm 2.0-litre biturbo 4-cylinder engine will be discontinued in next year's Ranger lineup. Models with a 4-pot engine will instead be powered by a 2.0-litre single-turbo with 125kW/405Nm.

New entry model for Everest

The Everest Trend will be discontinued in 2026, replaced by a new model called Active. Available with the 2.0-litre powertrain, the Active will still feature leather-accented seats, the 12-inch infotainment screen, 18-inch alloy wheels, privacy glass, tyre pressure monitoring system and LED headlamps.

Everest Sport will retain the choice of 2.0-litre or 3.0-litre engines.

Sport, Wildtrak and Platinum will continue. The Everest Sport will come with both 2.0-litre and 3.0-litre powertrains, while Wildtrak and Platinum are offered exclusively with the V6.

Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) has also been added as a standard feature on Sport.

An updated array of colours, including new additions Acacia Green and Alabaster White, will also be available.
