Fisker founder and namesake Henrik Fisker has given us a new look at the brand's upcoming flagship electric vehicle (EV), the Ronin.
Fisker has said that the Ronin will be a grand tourer in four-door convertible form. The teaser photo posted on Instagram seemingly confirms that, showing a red convertible with a closed hardtop.
The image also shows what appears to be full-size doors for the driver and front passenger, with the rear getting much smaller doors. This layout could indicate suicide doors, given the positioning of the door handles. If so, then space inside the Ronin could be rather limited.
Other visible details include a couple of hood vents and a full-width LED taillight reminiscent of the Porsche Taycan.
Fisker is reportedly optimistic on the Ronin achieving a range around 965 km, although the battery pack specs have yet to be revealed. We do know the chassis-integrated battery will power three electric motors. It may also go from 0 to 60 km/h in 2 seconds, give or take.
Pricing for the Fisker Ronin could start at $200,000 USD or roughly $320,000 once it launches during the second half of 2024.
Meanwhile, the the American brand with Danish roots has just begun delivering the Ocean to customers in Denmark and the US.
The $69,000 USD ($111,800) Fisker Ocean One launch edition delivers 410 kw and an EPA-rated range of 360 miles (579 km) with its 113 kWh (106 kWh net) battery pack.
Apart from the Ocean and Ronin, Fisker is also working on an entry-level hatchback EV dubbed the Pear. This model will reportedly offer a range of 400 km and a starting price under $30,000 USD ($48,600).
