- Powertrain details remain under wraps ahead of the global premiere.
Audi’s best-selling premium compact SUV is gearing up for its third act, with the all-new Q3 set to be officially unveiled on June 16.
But ahead of its full debut, the brand has offered a sneak peek - promising a fresh exterior, upgraded digital features and a continued focus on what’s made the Q3 a global success.
From bestseller to bold reboot
“With a total of more than two million vehicles sold worldwide since the launch of the first generation, the Audi Q3 is one of our best-selling models and has a high status in our product portfolio,” said Gernot Döllner, CEO of Audi AG.
“With the third generation of the Audi Q3, we are renewing an important model family as part of our product initiative.”
While Audi hasn’t detailed specs or tech just yet, the brief teaser confirms that the 2025 Q3 will feature a more confident exterior and, in the brand’s words, “numerous innovative features” to enhance digital integration - potentially pointing to revamped infotainment or driver assistance systems. Audi has not disclosed drivetrain or performance details yet, however.
Audi’s big picture play

The Q3 revamp is part of a wider product refresh across Audi’s portfolio. In 2024 alone, Audi delivered 1.7 million vehicles globally - alongside over 10,000 units each for Bentley and Lamborghini.
Clearly, the premium compact segment remains a cornerstone of Audi’s strategy, even as the market shifts toward electrification and digital-first experiences.
What to expect next week
The full global premiere is scheduled for June 16. Expect a thorough breakdown of design changes and a better idea of how Audi intends to evolve its compact SUV in the electric age - though it’s not yet confirmed if an electrified variant will be announced alongside the internal combustion models.
