Prankster interrupts Volkwagen presentation at Geneva
The English comedian who showered Sepp Blatter with cash has struck again - this time poking fun at the Volkswagen emissions scandal during the firm's presentation at the Geneva Motor Show.
Dressed as a mechanic and holding a wrench, Simon Brodkin interrupted VW board member Jurgen Stackmann by jumping on stage and heading towards the red display car.
In a German accent he says: 'No one's going to find out about this one,' before lying down underneath the vehicle and pretending to inspect the engine.
Stackmann, who attempts to usher Brodkin from the stage, tries to keep control of the situation and says: 'It doesn't need repairs, it's a perfectly good car.'
The comedian is later escorted off stage by a trio of security guards as crowds at the huge motor show event in Switzerland look on in bewilderment.
As the prankster leaves the stage he says: 'Mr Mueller (referring to VW chief executive Matthias Mueller) said it's OK as long as no one finds out about it.'
In July 2015, Brodkin made headlines when he calmly walked up to Sepp Blatter during a press conference in Zurich, Switzerland and placed a wad of pretend US dollars on the table.
The prankster - whose comedy creations include footballer Jason Bent and Lee Nelson - said: 'This is for North Korea 2026,' as Blatter called for his security guards to escort him from the stage.
Following their delayed response, guards eventually took Brodkin away but before they could remove him he threw a huge bundle of fake dollar bills into the air, which rained down on Blatter.
During rapper Kanye West's headline set at Glastonbury last year, Brodkin appeared on stage as his character Lee Nelson to interrupt the performance.
Nelson wore a T-shirt that mocked the rap artist's album Yeezus - as it read 'Lee-zus' instead - and danced alongside him for a few seconds.
