FIAT GIVES BIRTH TO ITS 1.5 MILLIONTH BAMBINO!
The Fiat 500 has reached the 1.5 million unit milestone in Europe with the landmark car in question, a white 1.2 Pop, rolling off the production line in Tychy, Poland, destined for its new owner in France .
Fiat is marking the production milestone in New Zealand by offering $5000 of factory fitted extras for free on the Fiat 500 Sport. For a limited time the panoramic glass sun roof, leather trim, rear park aid and up-sized alloy wheels are all included in the price of $25,990 plus on road costs.
The Fiat 500 Sport is powered by an advanced 1.4 litre 74 kW engine matched to a six speed dual logic gearbox that delivers punchy around town performance and long-legged cruising on country roads, where it sips fuel at just 5.8l/100 kms on the combined cycle test cycle.
The added extra factory fitted equipment joins a standard equipment list to make Fiat’s sporting bambino even more truly fully equipped, with climate air-conditioning, remote central locking, electric windows and mirrors, sports steering wheel, Sport setting for throttle and steering as well as an advanced telematics system with Blue&Me with voice activated connectivity
