Ferrari reveals bespoke 12Cilindri commission.

Ferrari reveals bespoke 12Cilindri commission.

  • Ferrari unveiled a one-off Tailor Made 12Cilindri on 19 January 2026 for South Korea.
  • The car debuts transitional paint and custom exterior graphics using layered paint techniques.
  • It uses a 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 producing 610kW, with 0 to 100km/h in 2.9 seconds.

Ferrari’s personalisation division has gone properly deep this time.

The new Tailor Made 12Cilindri isn’t just a bespoke paint-and-trim exercise. It’s a one-off, art-led interpretation of the brand’s latest front-engined V12 flagship, created exclusively for the South Korean market.

Unveiled in Maranello, the car is the result of a near two-year collaboration spanning three continents. Ferrari’s own Styling Centre and R&D teams worked alongside design publication Cool Hunting, with creative direction coming from a group of young South Korean artists whose work is woven, sometimes literally, throughout the car.

The headline visual is a new transitional exterior finish called Yoonseul, inspired by Korean tradition and contemporary city life.

Drawing cues from celadon ceramics and the glow of Seoul’s nightlife, the colour shifts from green to violet with blue highlights depending on the light.

Ferrari describes it as reminiscent of sunlight dancing on the sea, and it’s instantly unlike anything else to wear a Prancing Horse. That same paint technology is used again, one shade darker, to render a graphic representation of the 12Cilindri’s V12 soundtrack across the bodywork.

The design was created by sound and performance artists Graycode and jiiiiin, translating engine acoustics into visual form, an idea that feels perfectly on-brand for a naturally aspirated Ferrari V12.

Woven, lacquered and reimagined

Inside, traditional Korean craftsmanship takes centre stage. Textile artist Dahye Jeong’s horsehair weaving appears on the seats, floor and soft trim via a newly developed 3D fabric – used in a Ferrari for the first time.

Her work also features as a screen-printed motif on the glass roof and, most strikingly, as a hand-woven horsehair artwork integrated directly into the dashboard.

Artist Hyunhee Kim’s translucent acrylic creations replace familiar Ferrari badges, including the Scuderia shields, wheel caps and even the Prancing Horse itself. The same material appears on the centre tunnel and on a bespoke luggage case in the boot, complete with a customised Ferrari key.

White lacquer, inspired by contemporary artist TaeHyun Lee, introduces another first: factory white brake callipers and matching shift paddles.

The familiar V12 heartbeat

Beneath the artistry sits Ferrari’s latest 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12, producing 610kW and revving to 9500rpm. Performance remains extreme: 0 to 100km/h in under three seconds and a top speed north of 340km/h, reminding us that this is still a serious grand tourer, even when dressed as rolling art.

Ferrari hasn’t disclosed what this one-off Tailor Made 12Cilindri creation cost. Given the craftsmanship involved, it’s safe to assume the price is as bespoke as the car itself.
