Handling Speciale pack for Ferrari California T
The house of the prancing horse has introduced a new optional handling package for the Ferrari California T, which aims to add a little bit of extra sportiness to the open-top car.
There’s changed damper settings in the HS or Handling Speciale pack, as well as new springs that are 16 percent stiffer at the front and 19 percent firmer at the rear, and which are said to give the California T more sporty feedback at the slight expense of ride comfort.
When the manettino is set to Sport mode, drivers will also get to experience new, more responsive settings for the car’s magnetorheological dampers, as well as the F1-Trac stability and traction control unit.
Despite these updates, the car’s key figures remain unchanged. It’s still powered by a 3.9-litre turbocharged V8 that develops 412kW power at 7500rpm and 755Nm of torque at 4750rpm.
That’s good enough to send the 1625kg convertible hurtling from 0-100km/h in 3.6 seconds and onwards to a top speed of 316km/h.
Externally, California T models fitted with the HS pack are distinguished by a matte finish for the grille, rear diffuser and exhaust tips.
The HS pack will make its public debut at the Geneva motor show in March.
