Prodrive Racing Australia and Chaz Mostert reveal 2016 car in testosterone-pumped video
Dirt! Sprint cars! Stadium trucks! Helicopters! Slow motion! Mirrored sun glasses! It's a V8 Supercar launch video that ticks every box for the astute V8 enthusiast.
After his frightening crash at last year's Bathurst 1000 (sponsored by SuperCheap Auto, ahem), Chaz Mostert has been out of the seat of the V8 Supercar and in recovery mode. But after spending an extensive amount of time behind the slightly smaller steering wheel of a go kart, Mostert will be back in the seat of his V8 Supercar at Victoria's Winton Raceway later today — his championship challengers certain to follow his progress and his times.
But prior to that, the SuperCheap Auto Racing Prodrive Racing Australia squad (just rolls off the tongue) had a bit of fun in the dirt with the car's livery launch. Mostert's mentor Paul Morris, who he won the Bathurst 1000 with in 2014, is back and more Top Gun than ever. It's corny, but oh so good. Watch it above.
