Vincent Chase, and his boys are back to take on Hollywood one more time in Entourage, the follow up movie to the hit series from HBO.
Cruising around in the utmost style was always a priority for the boys, and with the release of the Entourage movie today, we thought we’d run down the top 5 vehicles that have stood out from the crowd.
5. Hyundai Tiburon
In Hollywood things run smoothly because of the loyal assistant core, and Ari Gold’s assistant, Lloyd Lee is the best. While he does face a consistent barrage of emotional and professional abuse at the hands of Ari, who is trying to ‘man him up’, he does get his own back behind the wheel of a Hyundai Tiburon which caught many people off guard due to its comparatively humble origins. This two door coupe was part of the second generation, with many thinking Lloyd had gone Fast and Furious on them.
4. Hummer H2
After his first movie, Head On, hit it big, Vince’s boys convinced him that they needed to be seen in style as they cruised the streets of Hollywood, and there first choice was a Hummer H2. With a bright yellow paint job this ride screamed movie star swagger, and Hummer’s were definitely in vogue back in the early naughties. Vince and his boys were set for Hollywood with this four door, 6-Litre 242 kW V8 beast of a ride. But ultimately it wouldn’t last with Vince trading it in for a much classier Maserati Quattroporte.
3. Rolls Royce Phantom
Needing to get his mind off the impending release of his first major movie Vince decided he needed a new ride, to which Turtle suggested the ultimate in luxury with a Rolls Royce Phantom. While Vince didn’t actually end up buying the car, instead leasing it, which brought him no amount of grief from his accountant Marvin, this huge four door, with equally big 338 kW 6.75-Litre V12 screamed luxury, and was everything that Vince and his friends were aspiring to be.
2. Ferrari F430 Spider
Ari Gold. Hollywood super-agent, and now studio head always had a taste for the god things in life, and thanks to his very well off wife Melissa ‘Mrs. Ari” Gold, Ari has the luxury of a Ferrari F430 Spider, which he personally branded with the license plate ARISFRRI. The F430 Spider screams the word boss with it’s convertible design, and features 4.3-litre Ferrarri F136 E V8 engine. The Spider was just one of many Ferrari’s to feature on the show including Vince’s 575 Superamerica, Turtle’s California and an appearance of a fleet 430 Scuderia’s when Vince was training to portray Ferrari creator Enzo Ferrari in a biopic.
1. 1965 Lincoln Continental
While Ari might have had the Ferrari it was always going to be Johnny Drama’s 1965 Lincoln Continental that stole the show. This four door convertible is the undisputed symbol of the bond between Vince, E, Turtle and Drama as they took their shot in Hollywood. With its trademarked front opening rear ‘suicide doors’, the Continental also boasted a 7.5-litre V8, and was a reminder of where the boys had come from, and what they could accomplish together.
