Range Rover Sport personalised for soccer star David Beckham
A Range Rover first owned by David Beckham is available at auction next month, and it's only got an estimated price of $54,000.
Similar to the car he had a bump in two years ago in Los Angeles, this isn't just any normal Range Rover Sport - it was designed exclusively for the ex-England captain and it's even got his name on the carpets.
Upgraded by specialists Kahn Conversions, the Range Rover was originally worth $235,000 - but with an expected auction price of between $54K to $58K, it's a celebrity car with incredible investment value.
The car started out as a top of the line Range Rover Sport powered by a colossus of a 4.2-litre supercharged V8 petrol engine.
Not happy with an off the shelf model, Beckham commissioned Kahn to bring the car up to his specification - this included changing the exterior design to his favourite all-black, including a colour-matching body kit and painted five spoke alloy wheels.
As well as being kitted out with every conceivable optional extra, the interior is also unique with hand-stitched quilted leather seats, a bespoke Genesis sound system and twin rear screens - ideal for entertaining Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz (Harper was born in 2011) on long arduous journeys.
The car also features a plaque bearing the moniker 'Designed for David Beckham', as well as the Beckham name embroidered into the floor mats.
The car, which has covered 62,000 miles, was first registered with the number plate 'DB1001' and has a history file including a speeding summons in the name of David's sister Joanne, who he later gifted the car to.
The V5C document clearly shows David Beckham as the first owner.
Commenting on the car, classic car specialist at CCA, Arwel Richards, said: 'This amazing personalised Range Rover with its impeccable provenance offers a unique future investment opportunity.
'David Beckham is arguably one of the most famous personalities on earth, and certainly a titan of sport.
'Recent sales of celebrity owned cars have far exceeded the true market values of contemporary models and so we expect great excitement around the sale.'
David isn't the only Beckham to lend a hand in designing a Range Rover - wife Victoria helped support the design of the brand's best selling car currently, the Range Rover Evoque.
Arwel added: 'Everyone should get the chance to drive and own a supercharged petrol Range Rover at some point, so why not one driven by one of the icons of the 21st Century?'
