- Dates have been announced for the third Starship Supercar Show.
- This year's event will feature more than $100 million worth of rare and exotic cars.
- The show will take place on the first weekend of school holidays in September.
The Giltrap Group has announced the third edition of its Starship Supercar Show charity car show, saying the event scheduled for the 20th and 21st of September is set to be the biggest yet, offering "a unique opportunity for car enthusiasts to witness more than $100 million worth of the world's most exciting cars, including some of the rarest and most sought-after models."
Michael Giltrap, Joint Managing Director of the Giltrap Group, said that the Starship Supercar Show is a highlight for the team at Giltrap Group, saying "Not only do we get to share our love of cars, but we are supporting Starship and the incredible work they do to care for Kiwi kids.”

Following the success of the extended format in 2023, the show will take place across the first weekend of the school holidays, giving car enthusiasts from across New Zealand "the best possible opportunity to experience the biennial celebration of the fastest, rarest, and coolest cars in the world."
Held across five levels of the Giltrap Groups’ headquarters at 109 Great North Road in Auckland’s Grey Lynn, the company says more than 100 cars will be on display at the eight sessions staged across the weekend, including everything from "Formula One racers to ultra-rare hypercars and classic supercars".

"Every ticket sold to the Starship Supercar Show helps drive forward life-changing care for sick and injured children across New Zealand," said Starship Foundation’s CEO, Jo Simon.
"Thanks to the Giltrap Group and everyone who supports this incredible event, we’re able to fund new treatments, cutting-edge research, and world-leading innovation that gives our young patients the best possible chance. We are truly grateful for the generosity and heart behind this show — it fuels real progress for our children, their whānau, and the future of paediatric healthcare."

The Supercar Show has raised more than $400,000 for the Starship Foundation since 2021, which the company calls "a testament to the generosity of car owners and Kiwi businesses" and says every cent raised from ticket sales goes towards supporting "the vital work of Starship."
Tickets will go on sale on the 24th of July at www.supercarshow.co.nz and ticket prices remain at $25, the same as in 2023, with children aged four and under admitted free of charge.
The Supercar line-up will be revealed in the lead-up to the show.
