East meets West in snowy sideways battle royale
If you hate drifting — and there's nothing wrong with that — then this news week probably hasn't been one of your favourites.
It actually started last week when we featured a Ferrari F40 power-sliding through the alps. Then on Monday we featured a drifting Nissan van, on Tuesday we featured one of the world's most ridiculous drift cars and its confirmed trip to the land down under, and now on this beautiful Wednesday we feature a pair of unlikely rivals duking it out through the snowy forests of Karelia between Russia and Finland.
I'd apologize, but this latest entry was simply too awesome not to feature.
In the red corner sits a Toyota Supra that's obviously lived a long and very interesting life. Coated in battle bruises, missing a few panels, but still singing its piercing 2JZ-fueled song through the trees.
In the blue corner meanwhile is a Chevrolet Corvette doing things Corvettes aren't necessarily well known for doing — an American export adapting to a craft created in Japan ... while in Europe.
The clash is a great one, as the pair toss and turn through their snowy surroundings. Crank up the volume and see it for yourself.
