Adorable functioning mini-replicas are probably already on everyone's Christmas lists
Without incriminating myself too deeply, I'm comfortable admitting that in many ways smaller can be better. Baby corn, mobile phones, and speeding tickets are all textbook examples.
And while I would love a Shelby Cobra or a Jaguar XK120, I'm almost tempted to say that I'd love one of these little suckers even more.
Bolstering Hammer Schlemmer's catalogue, which reads a bit like a high-society equivalent of Etsy, appear to be two 1:5-scale, functional versions of two eternally classic convertible sports cars — the Jaguar XK120 and the Shelby Cobra.
Both cars appear to be exquisitely made, with finely detailed interiors and accurate-looking bodies.

Details regarding the Jaguar reveal that it's powered by an air-cooled 110cc four-stroke engine, capable of a cute 38mph. Behind the wheels it's even for Brembo brake discs all round! We can only assume that the Shelby in the video has a similar set-up, though it's nowhere to be seen on the website.
Naturally none of this comes cheap, with the Jaguar priced at $20,000USD, or more than $29,000NZD. Roughly the price of a base-model Toyota Corolla...
