He just 18 years old, but Colton Herta has left his mark on the IndyCar circuit after winning his first race at Circuit of The Americas this morning.
The previous record was held by Graham Rahal who was 19 years old when he won at St. Petersburg back in 2008.
A late crash worked in Herta's favour, as the young driver managed to get past Will Power who had held the lead for the 45 laps prior.

While Herta was celebrating his win after just three races, Scott Dixon didn't have anything to celebrate after crossing the finish line in 13th place.
The Kiwi driver started at sixth on the grid and held that position for most of the race before the yellow flag came out while still needing to make a stop.
After coming out of the pits in 15th, Dixon's bad luck still wasn't over as an unfortunate wheel touch from Zach Veach lost him another place.
Dixon's new team mate Felix Rosenqvist didn't have any better luck, as the Swiss driver got tangled up with James Hinchliffe and finished 23rd.
After this race, Dixon now sits at third on the points table, and is 36 points behind Josef Newgarden. The next race is on April 7 in Alabama, so the five-time series winner has a couple of weeks to regroup.
Colton Herta, the 18-year-old race winner, is now second in the series points standings.
