Chinese commercial-vehicle brand Jac, which entered the New Zealand one-tonne ute market this tear with the $49,990 T9, is expanding its local dealerships.
Jac currently has three: Southern Autos in Botany, Auckland, Energy Motors in New Plymouth and Avon City in Christchurch. Joining them soon are Winger Motors North Shore in Wairau Valley, Auckland, another Winger outlet in Hamilton, plus Hawkes Bay Jac in Napier.
The Jac brand is part of the much wider Southpac Truck network, which has a further 10 commercial sales and/or servicing outlets stretching from Kerikeri to Dunedin.
Jac has also joined the forthcoming Fieldays event (June 11-14) as part of a new group of major sponsors, along with PTS Logistics, Map of Ag and the University of Waikato.
Jac's involvement extends to a new T9 ute as part of the major prize pool for ticketholders.
