Bugatti debuted its Centodieci in 2019, but deliveries of the car won't start to roll out until sometime next year.
The supercar has completed its hot-water testing, and is almost ready for production.
The latest testing saw a team of 27 engineers take the Centodieci and some other Bugatti models, three Chiron Pur Sports and four Chiron Super Sports, hot-weather testing.
Though the car is super-limited, with just 10 examples to be made, it is required to complete the same level of testing as Bugatti's other hypercars, costing the brand €8 million ($13.08 million NZD).
Some small changes were made to the vehicle, such as requiring an additional air intake near the oil cooler to keep engine temperatures under control.
André Kullig, Technical Project Manager at Bugatti, says “the Centodieci’s newly developed bodywork, airflow changes, and its engine bay cover manufactured from glass mean the temperature behaviour is quite different, especially in such extreme, 45-degree-Celsius-plus heat conditions.”

The hypercar has a quad-turbocharged 8.0-litre W16 engine which sends the car flying to 100kph in just in 2.5 seconds. It gets to 300kph in an insane 13.1 seconds. The top speed is electronically limited to 380kph.
For the final stage of testing, Bugatti will now take the hypercar for a 30,000 km drive through Europe in the Centodieci’s final high-speed test drives. After which, Bugatti will have the development team sign off on the project before production begins.
