Where are the monster utes, you ask?

Brabus has them. The German high-performance aftermarket tuning company recently unveiled two new six-wheeled utes based on the Mercedes-AMG G63: the Brabus XLP 800 6x6 Adventure and XLP 900 6x6 Superblack.

These mad-looking vehicles include select performance enhancements for higher power outputs and better off-roading.

Brabus XLP 800 6x6 Adventure

Under the hood of the XLP 800 6x6 Adventure lies a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine, generating nearly 600 kW and just over 1,000 Nm of torque. Brabus reportedly optimized the injection, boost pressure control, and ignition through customized software maps.

With all that power in tow, the XLP 800 can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometres per hour in a mere 5.8 seconds. Unfortunately, it has an electronically limited top speed of 209 km/h.

Both utes feature extended ladder-frame constructions to fit the extra axle. They use a Brabus-engineered steel module to keep torsional rigidity at par with the stock chassis on the Mercedes-AMG G63. All three axles also have independent suspensions for optimal off-road performance.

The Brabus XLP 800 6x6 Adventure model showcases 22-inch Brabus Monoblock Z/HD wheels. These wheels add to the truck's rugged appearance while fitting nicely under the extended flares.

In addition to performance upgrades, Brabus has enhanced the look of the G63. The XLP 800 now boasts a sturdy brush guard, a redesigned front bumper, and an integrated winch, all contributing to its rugged and adventurous character.

The XLP 800 also features high-gloss exterior carbon elements, a sleek matte black bed roll bar, and eye-catching Brabus Widestar fender flares.

Brabus XLP 900 6x6 Superblack

If the Adventure isn't enough for you, the Superblack might be. It packs a massive 4.5-litre twin-turbocharged V8 mill that generates a whopping 662 kW and 1,250 Nm of torque. Howver, in-vehicle torque and top speed is limited to 1,049 Nm and 209 km/h, respectively.

The XLP 900 features up to 18.6 inches of ground clearance, matching the XLP 800. Brabus also fitted the Superblack with a grille-integrated ram-air intake system, allowing for improved airflow and optimal engine efficiency.

Brabus XLP 800 and XLP 900 pricing

The stock Mercedes-AMG G63 is already out of reach for most people at well over $250,000. But the Brabus XLP 800 6x6 Advenutre takes it several notches higher with an eye-watering sticker price of €1.1 million (around $1.945 million).

Meanwhile, the Brabus XLP 900 6x6 Superblack is available for €1.186 million or around $2.097 million. Still looking for that monster ute?
