International BMX star, Kiwi Jed Mildon, features during this weekend’s Big Boys Toys show in Auckland.

Originally from Taupo, Mildon has become an extreme sports star.

He became an international celebrity when a video of him landing the first BMW triple backflip went viral in 2011.

Mildon has since been credited with eight ground-breaking BMX tricks, and in 2015 landed the world’s first BMX quadruple backflip.

This feat lead to appearances on talk shows throughout the United States, and he became the subject of a movie Revolution Day, which focused on the preparation and execution of the quad flip.

With Mildon at Big Boys Toys will be US BMW star Kurtis Downs, described as a “super technical BMX rider” (with the ability to produce tricks such as the 360 superman Indian Air tailwhip), and Kiwi Levi Sherwood.

They will be performing at the Milwaukee Action Arena during Big Boys Toys, which will also feature a range of supercars in the Driven Hall.

Among them will be the new Aston Martin DB11, and several Ferrari supercars.

There will be hot rods in the Big Boys Toys Garage, the Auckland excavator championships and the
Yamaha Rev zone, as well as other entertainment and displays at the Auckland Showgrounds from Friday to Sunday.
