New Crewe design studio powers Bentley’s EV and styling overhaul.

New Crewe design studio powers Bentley’s EV and styling overhaul.

  • Bentley has revealed a new falcon-inspired logo and opened a larger design studio in Crewe in the UK.
  • The EXP 15 concept is a five-metre electric grand tourer with a three-seat, asymmetrical door layout.
  • Its dashboard features Bentley’s new “Magical Fusion” interface, blending digital displays with real wood surfaces.

Bentley’s latest design evolution is more than sleek silhouettes and silent motors - it’s reshaping the brand’s very identity.

The storied British marque has unveiled a radically reimagined winged “B” logo alongside its first fully electric concept car, marking what CEO Frank-Steffen Walliser calls “the biggest design revolution in Bentley’s history”.

The redesigned badge drops the traditional lower feathers in favour of sharper lines and more dynamic wings, modelled after the peregrine falcon.

Meanwhile, the “B” sits front and centre like a gemstone, carved with facets and framed in fine metal in a nod to modern luxury with established heritage.

EXP 15: Power meets poise

Central to this new era is the EXP 15, an all-electric concept car stretching over five metres long. It’s a grand tourer with unmistakable 1930s influence: long bonnet, rearward cabin, and a bold upright grille. But don’t let the retro cues fool you, as this machine is firmly rooted in tomorrow.

Inside, Bentley pushes boundaries with a three-seater layout: driver’s seat, front passenger chair (which swivels and adjusts electrically), and a rear bench.

On the right-hand side, a pair of rear-hinged and forward-opening doors invite entry, while the left has just one. The pièce de résistance? A “Magical Fusion” dashboard that switches from digital display to pure wood veneer at the press of a button.

Designing dreams in Crewe

The new design language is born in Bentley’s freshly minted English design studio in Crewe - part of the carmaker’s larger Dream Factory initiative.

With double the space and around 50 designers under one roof, the goal is clear: fuse tradition with sustainability. That includes restoring buildings rather than demolishing them, as well as new facilities for painting and electric vehicle assembly.

Bentley’s bold pivot to electrification is now matched by a visual and spatial overhaul - one that signals where the brand is headed: into the future, falcon wings first.
