Audi New Zealand has collaborated with Kiwi designer Tim Webber to launch its first-ever pure-electric station wagon, the A6 Avant e-tron, with a "bespoke furniture collection", including a chair and coffee table "inspired by the sculpted form and refined detail of the A6 Avant e-tron".
The Audi-inspired Rehn Lounge Chair is $8155, while the Matter Coffee Table is a snip at $10,390.
As part of the collaboration, the first 15 NZ customers to purchase the new car will receive a limited-edition key bowl (retail price $840) designed by Webber.
"The A6 Avant e-tron represents a new chapter for Audi in NZ, our first fully electric Avant, and Tim’s craftsmanship beautifully complements the vision behind this vehicle,” says Greg Leet, general manager, Audi New Zealand.
The A6 Avant e-tron is available in S line, S line quattro and performance S6 versions, with prices from $144,990 to $202,990. The entry model is rear-drive and boasts the biggest range of the lineup with a WLTP figure of 650km, while the top S6 can rocket form 0-100km/h in 4.1 seconds.
Webber’s bespoke pieces are available to purchase and will be showcased in his Auckland showroom (12 Nugent Street, Grafton) for a limited time.
