The roar of a V12 engine is a sound that resonates with petrolheads worldwide. It evokes a sense of power, heritage and unadulterated driving pleasure.
Aston Martin understands this primal connection, and the British marque is set to reignite our V12 fever with the return of the Vanquish.
Aston Martin Vanquish V12 teaser
Aston Martin has released a quick teaser audio clip of the upcoming Vanquish's V12 powertrain.
The audio, available on the Aston Martin website, showcases the engine roaring to life and charging through its gears, offering a glimpse of what awaits us at the September 2nd launch.
The Vanquish nameplate holds a special place in Aston Martin's history.
The previous generation, which bowed out near the end of the last decade, was powered by a naturally aspirated 5.9-litre V12 producing 444kW and 630Nm of torque in its ultimate S trim.
While details about the new Vanquish remain scarce, expectations are high for a significant power boost to the tune of 614kW.
While the new teaser audio (and the older one below) has whetted our appetites, we'll have to wait a little longer for official images and specifications of the new Vanquish. However, the sound of that V12 is enough to keep us dreaming of its arrival.
